African countries to rescue academic year 2019-2020

The ongoing pandemic has helped the world take cognizance of the importance of online education. This was what the Minister of Education of Tunisia, Mohamed el Hamdi declared as his department signed a partnership agreement with the National TV channel and Radio for the launch of an educational TV channel. As school are closed due to the pandemic, governments are looking for ways to continue classes for students since their home. The partnership with the TV channel and radio will allow Tunisian students to follow tutorship classes from their home.
Similar solution is already being experienced in Senegal through Groupe Futur Media (GFTM) TV channel, in Cameroon and soon in Togo.
