Tunisia: Wholesale Drug Distribution Strike Postponed to November

The General Health Federation has announced on Wednesday, September 17, the postponement of a planned strike by wholesale drug distribution workers, which was originally scheduled to take place this Thursday.

According to a statement released by the Federation, the industrial action has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025. The decision to delay was made to comply with legal requirements, specifically to allow time for a conciliation session convened by the Central Conciliation Committee.

By postponing the strike, the Federation aims to establish the necessary legal and procedural conditions for mediation. The move is intended to foster a favorable environment for dialogue in the hopes of reaching a negotiated solution before the new strike date arrives.
