Angola: TAAG launches flights to Cabinda at Dr. Antônio Agostinho Neto International airport

Linhas Aéreas de Angola officially launched commercial flights between Luanda and Cabinda on Sunday, November 10, operating out of Doutor António Agostinho Neto International Airport. The inaugural flight from Luanda to Cabinda transported 92 passengers, marking a significant step in enhancing connectivity within Angola.
The airline has scheduled four daily flights between the two provinces, underscoring the high demand on the Luanda-Cabinda route, which is currently the busiest domestic route for the national carrier. The aircraft used for this route has a seating capacity of 120, comprising 12 executive seats and 108 economy seats, with an anticipated outbound cargo capacity of 490 kilograms.
During the launch event, Angola’s Minister of Transport, Ricardo de Abreu, highlighted that eastern provinces would be next to benefit from expanded flight services as part of the ongoing transportation development plan. The initiative aligns with efforts to improve regional accessibility and support economic growth through enhanced domestic air travel options.
