The investiture ceremony of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, and the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperança da Costa, takes place next Thursday, the 15th of this month, following the victory of MPLA in the General Elections of the 24th of August.
According to a statement published today on the website of the Presidency of the Republic, the investiture ceremony will take place in Luanda, in Praça da República.
The Constitutional Court (TC) on Thursday validated the definitive results of the 24 August general elections in Angola, with the victory of the MPLA and its candidate for President of the Republic, João Lourenço, with 51.17 percent of the votes.
