Angola and Brazil strengthen cooperation in the hydrocarbon field

The National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) signed, this Wednesday, with its counterpart in Brazil, the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), a cooperation agreement for programs of regulation and supervision of exploration, development and production activities.
According to an ANPG press release to which Jornal de Angola had access today, the signing took place during the Rio Oil & Gas Conference held in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The agreement initialed by the president of the Board of Directors (PCA) of ANPG, Paulino Jerónimo and the director general of ANP, Rodolfo Henrique de Saboia, will be valid for five years, and aims to establish cooperation in the areas of technical promotion for the strengthening of the oil and gas industry, as well as the transfer of knowledge related to technical standards and good practices of the oil industry.
