TAAG reinforces fleet with cargo plane and two aircraft

TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola announced on Thursday that it was reinforcing its fleet with a Boeing 737-800 freighter and two Boeing 737-700 aircraft under lease.
According to the statement, this action is part of the Angolan airline’s renewed commercial dynamics and the improvement of service levels and options for its customers.
The document also states that the measure increases TAAG’s response capacity at domestic and regional level, as well as “providing the cargo segment with new resources (freighter aircraft) to attract new contracts or non-scheduled services”.
The statement also concludes that the strategy involves “reinforcing the availability of flights at a time of year when demand is high with two Boeing 737-700 aircraft with capacity for 136 passengers, 12 of which in business class and 124 in economy class” and ensuring “connections to domestic destinations with the highest traffic and regional routes”.
