Some businessmen of Saudi-Arabia are willing to invest in Algeria more than two (2) billion dollars in four months. The information was given by the Saudi Minister of Trade and Industry, Tawfik Ben Fawzan al-Rabia on the 2nd December in Algiers.

According to the minister who was quoted by APS news agency, these investors are interested in the areas of building materials and packaging industries. M. Ben Fawzan al-Rabia, who was speaking on the sidelines of the work of the 10th Algerian-Saudi Joint Commission, has also stated his ambition to increase trade between the two countries, which have already risen sharply between 2008 and 2013. Algerian Finance Minister Mohamed Djellab, who co-chaired the meeting, stressed the commitment of both parties to diversify their economic relations through the development of Saudi investments in Algeria and the consolidation of relations between Algerian businessmen and Saudis.
