Chad and Guinea-Bissau Pledge Stronger Ties in High-Level Bilateral Talks

Chadian President Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno and his Guinea-Bissau counterpart, President Umaro Sissoco Embalo, held a two-hour meeting on Thursday, July, 24, in N’Djamena to deepen bilateral relations and enhance diplomatic coordination. A statement from the Chadian presidency underscored both leaders’ shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and maintaining regular dialogue on matters of mutual interest.
The discussions also highlighted a joint aspiration for a fairer and more equitable global order. President Embalo, who arrived in Chad midday for a brief working visit, departed shortly after the meeting.
