FIFA Arab Cup 2025: Morocco Beat Jordan to Become Arab Champions

Morocco football national team won the 2025 Arab Cup after defeating Jordan 3-2 in a thrilling match played Thursday at Lusail Stadium in Qatar.
Oussama Tannane opened the score for the Atlas Lions in the 4th minute with a thunderbolt shot from midfield that stunned everyone, including the Jordanian goalkeeper. In the 48th minute, Ali Olwan scored the equalizer for Nashama and before converting a penalty in the 68th minute giving them a 2-1 lead.
Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah scored a stunning equalizer in the 87th minute, adding excitement to the extra-time match. In the 100th minute, Hamdallah scored again to give the Atlas Lions their 2nd Arab title after their first cup gained in 2012 in Saudi Arabia.
King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulations to the Moroccan national football team for winning the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 held in Qatar.
In this message, the Sovereign congratulated the national team for their victory, offering Morocco its second title in this championship, a renewed feat that reinforces the honorable standing of Moroccan football at the Arab and international levels.

The Sovereign has lauded the Moroccan supporters who accompanied and supported the national team in achieving this great triumph in Qatar, praising their strong patriotism in defending the national jersey as well as their enthusiastic support which has become a source of admiration and an example to follow.
The King wished the Moroccan football team continued success in their ongoing efforts to proudly raise the national flag in various regional, continental, and international events.
