U.S. President has expressed thanks to King Mohammed VI for naming the Tiznit-Dakhla expressway, currently under construction, “President Donald J. Trump Highway” and described the move “such Great honor”. He also said he looked forward to “traveling the entire length of this Great Highway”, alluding to a visit to the North African Kingdom.
In a post published Sunday on his Truth social account, accompanied by an announcement video for the new motorway, President Trump said: “thank you to Highly Respected Mohammed VI, the King of Morocco — Such a Great Honor! I look forward to traveling the entire length of this Great Highway someday, hopefully soon!”
President Donald J. Trump Highway, which stretches 1,055 km down Morocco’s Atlantic coastline, connects Tiznit to Guelmim, Tan-Tan, Laayoune and Boujdour before reaching Dakhla. It is more than a road. It is a road of peace for prosperity.
