Angolan President to be received by Joe Biden on November 30th

Angolan President João Lourenço will be received by his US counterpart, Joe Biden, next Thursday as part of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the White House announced.
The two heads of state are also expected to discuss the next steps in deepening bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, climate and energy, as well as the development of President Biden’s Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI) for the Lobito Corridor.
This rail infrastructure will connect Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Zambia to global markets via the Angolan port of Lobito
This meeting will be guided by the principles of the US-Africa Leaders’ Summit, particularly with regard to how the United States and African nations can continue to work together to tackle regional and global challenges, the White House statement said.
