Mauritania’s President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani left the capital Nouakchott on Wednesday evening, heading to Rabat, reported the Mauritanian News Agency.
The trip of the Mauritanian President to Morocco falls within the framework of a “private visit,” said the agency, without revealing any further details about the nature or agenda of the trip.
Yet, such a private visits may have diplomatic or personal dimensions, given the unique character of the two Maghreb capitals’ relations.
