Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan presided over the award ceremony of the Grand Prix SM le Roi Mohammed VI, a show-jumping event, in El Jadida on Sunday afternoon. The Grand Prix was the flagship event of the finale of the Morocco Royal Tour 2026, held during the 17th Horse Show.
The Crown Prince watched the second round of the final. Belgian rider Jérôme Guery, on Kiliman Sitte, won the two-round competition, which drew 44 riders from 16 countries. The Crown Prince handed the Grand Prix to the winner and prizes to the next four riders: Chloe Aston of Great Britain, Simon Delestre of France, Tom Schewe of Germany and Roberto Previtali of Italy.
The finale closed the 15th Morocco Royal Tour, held in Tétouan October 1-4, Rabat October 7-11, and El Jadida October 15-18. The El Jadida leg rose to CSI5*W, the highest level of international show-jumping and a World Cup qualifier, while the Tétouan and Rabat legs moved from CSI1* to CSI2*.
