Members of the Algeria-backed separatist group have sneaked into a preparatory meeting for the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) Ministerial Meeting due Aug.24-25.
The uninvited Polisario thugs managed to get in the meeting with the help of the Algerian delegation. CCTV footage shows a man, with Algerian diplomatic credentials, taking out from his satchel the name plate of so-called “SADR” and placing it in front of him in a bid to deceive organizers and attendees, posing as an official delegate.
But all his deceptive and reprehensible acts were caught on camera, showing the deep crisis and decline of the Algerian diplomacy which is hitting rock-bottom, while Morocco is gaining a growing international support for its territorial integrity and sovereignty over the Sahara.
Following the party-crashers scandal, Japanese authorities said they did not invite the Polisario representative to TICAD. They have not issued them visas and refused to process their travel documents.
According to all accounts, the Polisario separatists entered Japanese territory with false identities, using Algerian passports and posing as members of the Algerian delegation.
Japan has reaffirmed supportive stand for Morocco’s territorial integrity, stressing that it does not recognize the self-proclaimed “‘SADR” and holds the African Union responsible for the Polisario gate-crashing.
In July, the AU Executive Council decided to exclude the Polisario from participating in the international meetings gathering African countries and superpowers.
The move comes after some major international meetings, which were intended to bring in major investment to the African continent, were derailed into chaos and sparked a diplomatic crisis over the participation of a non-state entity, the Polisario self-proclaimed SADR, which is becoming persona non-grata worldwide.
Thus, it has been agreed that ONLY African countries recognized by the United Nations will be allowed to participate in international summits and meetings.
After the Tokyo meeting, the Algerian regime is eying the China-Africa forum, another diplomatic ground battle wherein the Algerian rulers are using all their leverage for the participation of the Polisario militia in the event.
In 2018, Beijing refused the Polisario participation. Russia, the United States, Saudi Arabia, India, South Korea, Italy and Turkey have all excluded the Polisario from their summits with the African countries.
