King Mohammed VI hands to newly-appointed Moroccan ambassadors their nomination Decrees

King Mohammed VI received, on Monday at the Royal Palace in Rabat, newly-appointed ambassadors to several countries, to whom the Monarch presented their nomination Decrees.

The new ambassadors to African countries who were handed their appointment Dahirs include Othman El Ferdaous, former Minister of Culture and former secretary of state to the Minister of Industry, who will serve as Morocco’s new ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire; Abdelkader El Jamoussi, former Consul General in New York, who will be the new envoy to Cameroon; Mustapha El Alami Fellousse, who will be Morocco’s ambassador to the Central African Republic, Mrs Najoua El Berrak, who will be Chief of mission in the Republic of Congo, and Mohammed Iboumraten who will be Morocco’s ambassador in Niger.

Ahmed Rida Chami was handed his Royal Decree as Ambassador to the European Union, a position he had held from 2016 to 2018, while Omar Amghar and Ms. Fatiha Layadi, were handed their appointment Dahirs as Ambassadors to Serbia and to Denmark respectively.

Other ambassadors who were handed their appointment Dahirs are Ms. Boutaina El Kerdoudi, Ambassador to Bangladesh; Redouane Houssaini, Ambassador to Indonesia; Majid Halim, Ambassador to Malaysia; and Younes Dirhoussi, Ambassador to Saint Lucia.

Subsequently, Mr. Omar Amghar, Mr. Redouane Houssaini, Mr. Younes Dirhoussi, Ms. Najoua El Berrak, Ms. Boutaina El Kerdoudi, Mr. Abdelkader El Jamoussi, Mr. Mohammed Iboumraten, Ms. Fatiha Layadi, and Mr. Mustapha El Alami Fellousse took the oath before the King.

This audience was attended by Foreign Minister, Nasser Bourita, and the Chamberlain of the King, Sidi Mohamed El Alaoui.
