President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State visit to Switzerland has marked a pivotal moment in strengthening diplomatic, economic, and developmental cooperation between the two nations.
The Swiss Federal Council hosted the South African leader on Wednesday, 29 October, during which five key documents outlining future collaboration were signed. The official talks centred on enhancing bilateral relations and deepening joint engagement on global platforms.
Both delegations commended the strong foundation of their partnership, with Switzerland acknowledging South Africa’s influential role in international forums such as the United Nations and the G20. The discussions also reflected a shared vision for global cooperation anchored in mutual respect, dialogue, and multilateralism.
