The presidents of Zambia and Ghana engaged in substantive bilateral talks in Lusaka on Thursday, February 5, advancing a strategic agenda aimed at deepening economic cooperation.
Hakainde Hichilema, Zambian Head of State, is paying a three-day visit in Accra since 4th February. The dialogue emphasised strengthening trade ties, leveraging shared expertise in sectors such as mining, and reinvigorating people-to-people relations between the two nations.
Both leaders expressed a mutual commitment to building on the historical foundations of their countries’ relations by prioritising economic collaboration that transcends traditional political goodwill.
