African e-commerce company Jumia has announced on the 20th March, in a statement, the opening of six branches in Ivory Coast in the cities of Yamoussoukro, Bouaké, San Pedro, Daloa, Gagnoa and Korogho.
“This is the proof of our commitment to offer the finest products at the best price, especially with the best service throughout Ivory Coast. Jumia aims to successfully meet the expectations of inland populations, and we already have very good feedbacks on the newly opened branches,” said Francis Dufay, chief executive officer (CEO) of Jumia Ivory Coast.
The agencies are service points where customers can take delivery and retrieve items ordered online.
“The opening of new branches is a proof of our commitment to offer the best products at the best price, especially with the best services throughout Côte d’Ivoire,” said the CEO of Jumia Ivory Coast, Francis Dufay.
To celebrate the openings, Jumia has also announced all deliveries throughout Ivory Coast will be free of charge during the month of March.
Jumia is present in Great Britain and in nine markets in Africa: Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Kenya, Morocco, Egypt, Nigeria, Uganda and Tanzania. The online sales site offers products ranging from ready-to-wear, computers, telephony, automobile parts, household appliances, games, etc.
