Improvised bomb device kills two Algerian soldiers

Two Algerian soldiers were killed Saturday after an improvised device went off in Medea province, TSA reports.

The fatalities according a statement from ministry of defense occurred in Oued El Takouk, in the town of Ain Dalia, as some detachments were combing the area.

The victims, declared as martyr were Captain Bensmaïl Fateh and Chief-caporal Khaldi Zakaria.

The latest incident is the second this month. June 20, another soldier, a caporal, was shot dead in gun fire exchange with a group of terrorists.

The Algerian army has been facing sporadic attacks of terror groups which emanates from the Islamists movements which sowed havoc in

the bloody confrontation with forces in 1990s.
