Fuel prices fall by 4.49% in Cape Verde

Maximum fuel prices in Cape Verde fell by an average of 4.49% in January 2024 compared to the previous month, announced the Multisectoral Regulatory Authority for the Economy (ARME).
The price of diesel has fallen by 4.95% to 123 Cape Verdean escudos (around 1.12 euros) per liter and petrol by 4.28% to 132 escudos, according to the new price list for regulated oil products, which is already in force.
ARME also indicated that the price of butane gas is the exception and is rising, with an increase of 0.97%. As a result, 12.5 kilo gas bottles will cost 1,814 escudos (around 16.45 euros).
