Few year after the return of the African Development Bank at its headquarters in Abidjan, thinks are going well for companies and service providers which operates in the country. Yesterday, the French company CFAO Côte d’Ivoire has offered supply contracts that could reach a total amount of 2.745 billion FCFA (€ 4.18 million).
A statement released by AfDB on the 12th January, 2015, has indicated that, CFAO the company that is listed on the Regional Stock Exchange Securities of UEMOA was a successful bidder on three contracts. It will also have to provide service and maintenance for 3 years of IBM servers for UNIX platforms in the data center of the AfDB headquarters in Abidjan. Other two contracts will permit to CFAO to provide minibus hiring services and finally install Informat Technology at the headquarters of the multilateral agency.
In its various ads, the AfDB said that the amounts reported for the various contracts were indicative. It is also true that in some contracts (minibus hiring and Informat Technology), CFAO will conduct an annual renewal. However, this is good news for the company and also for its investors who seem to be positive for CFAO’s action since the beginning of the year 2015.
For the beginning of this week, it has progressed by 4.8% and now stacks up to 13.8% since the beginning of the year. But more will be needed for the company to continue to maintain the confidence of its investors. On 12th January, performance showed 3.2%, for a net profit ratio value of the share of 28, still quite important.
