The 5th edition of the Oil & Gas Libya exhibition will take place in Tripoli next April 22 through 25.
The international exhibition is held part of Libya’s efforts to regenerate and modernize its oil, gas and petrochemicals sector and consequently stimulate the private sector growth on an unprecedented scale.
Libya actually seeks to increase production to pre-revolution levels of 1.6mn b/d, ramp up production, and expand the downstream sector, namely refineries and petrochemical industries, and hopes through these stimulation efforts to create $multi-billion opportunities for the international export community.
The exhibition program will focus on exploration, new fields development, maintenance of existing fields, drilling and reservoir management and engineering, production technology, enhanced oil recovery, LNG pipeline technology and refinery development and upgrading.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, a conference, similar to the one held in 2012, will provide industrialists and professionals with the opportunity to exchange expertise and know-how.
The 4th Oil & Gas Libya exhibition attracted more than 197 international exhibitors from 24 countries including Egypt, France, the Netherlands and Turkey.
Organizers are expecting the participation in the 2013 edition of at least 90 percent of the companies which took part in the event last year.
