BMCE Bank of Africa and China Africa Business Council have signed a partnership agreement meant to facilitate and support Chinese investors in Morocco and in Africa.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the China-Africa Cooperation forum held in Beijing Sept. 3-4 and the Forum on the two sides’ private Sector cooperation held on September 6 in Hangzhou.
This strategic and sustainable partnership between the two parties aims to simplify foreign trade operations between China and Africa through providing Chinese operators with the expertise of BMCE Bank of Africa, as well as the value added that will be brought by the new branch of the Group in Shanghai, the BMCE said in a statement.
The agreement was signed on the Moroccan side by director general of BMCE Bank of Africa-Shanghai, Said Adren, and on the Chinese side by Vice President of China Africa Business Council Wang Guidong.
