Cape Verde to run for the presidency of the CPLP Business Confederation

Cape Verde will apply for leadership of the CPLP business confederation. Information advanced by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Sotavento, at the end of a meeting with the President of the Republic, José Maria Neves.
Marcos Rodrigues says that the Head of State guaranteed all the necessary support to leverage business issues.
“Expanding the market, reindustrializing the countries that make up the CPLP, especially the PALOP countries that have enormous growth potential. We are working and will work hard to help internationalize the CPLP companies and also bring a new dynamic to this market, which is necessary”, he explains.
Marcos Rodrigues advances that the elections for the leadership of the business confederation of the CPLP will happen this November, in Lisbon.
“After this conversation with the President of the Republic, no doubt remains and we are going to present our candidacy. Cape Verde will be a candidate for the leadership of the CPLP Business Confederation. The elections will be held before the end of November, so we have to run a little behind the situation and we will naturally as is public knowledge”, he says.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Sotavento, Marcos Rodrigues, adds that during the meeting with the President of the Republic other issues related to the business sector were addressed, including issues of financing the business sector, as well as resources available in the CPLP space.
