The President of Sao Tome and Principe, Carlos Vila Nova, appointed last Saturday, 12, the members of the XVIII Constitutional Government of Sao Tome and Principe, led by Prime Minister Patrice Trovoada.
The Government, whose members take office on Monday 14th, is composed of four women and seven men.
Among the women in the new Executive, Ilza Maria dos Santos Amado Vaz, who for the second time occupies the Justice, Public Administration and Human Rights portfolio, stands out.
For Education, Culture and Sciences, Isabel Maria Correia Viegas de Abreu was nominated.
Eurídice Borges Semedo Medeiros is the new minister of Youth and Sports.
The Ministry of Women’s Rights is now under the tutelage of Maria Milagre de Pina Delgado.
Seven more ministers were also appointed to the XVIII Constitutional Government of São Tomé and Príncipe.

In this government, the strong man of diplomacy is Alberto Neto Pereira, appointed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Communities.
The XVIII Constitutional Government of São Tomé and Príncipe, composed of 11 ministries, begins its duties on Monday 14th, with the inauguration of its members.
