Libya: Book fair kicks off in Tripoli

Libya’s book fair has officially kicked off in Tripoli, after a 10-year hiatus. The event attracts a diverse range of participants from over 22 countries, 50 literary agencies, and 200 publishers. Hosted at the Tripoli International Fairgrounds, the event runs until October 25 and is held under the auspices of the Office of the Attorney General, signaling strong governmental support for cultural enrichment.
