Mali: The National Transitional Council adopts the new Government action Plan

After about 11 hours of debate, the new Government action plan, proposed by the Prime Minister, was adopted at the Bamako International Conference Center.
The members of the National Transitional Council, despite the doubts and mistrust expressed throughout the day, voted in favor of the action plan by 102 votes for, 2 against and 9 abstentions.
Facing the CNT, Mali’s current legislative body, Prime Minister Choguel Maïga tried to be pedagogical in defending this project designed by his government, which sets the course of the executive for the rest of the transition. For Hadji Barry, representative of the disabled in the CNT, the deadline for the implementation of the reforms announced is very short. However, he is satisfied with the choice of priorities, which are security, the promotion of good governance and the organization of elections.
All smiles, Choguel Maïga wanted to bring people together during his closing speech in an appeal to the various societal and political components of Mali.
