Togo: Young farmers will receive funding

With the National Inclusive Finance Fund (FNFI), Togolese government is planning to launch in few days, two new investments for young farmers that will take into account the specific needs of young farmers in Togo.

These new fundings, according to reports, will make available to the beneficiaries, respectively, a sum of 300,000 FCFA and 100,000 FCFA per person for the development of income-generating activities.

Launched in January 2014, the National Inclusive Finance Fund has launched in April of the same year its first funding called access of the poor to financial services (APSEF), a credit of 30,000 FCFA to support and promote income-generating activities for women and vulnerable people to help them.

This first funding of FNFI has recorded, according to officials of inclusive finance, more than 324,000 beneficiaries in all districts of Togo, more than estimations.
