The World Bank -IMF annual meetings planned in Marrakesh (Morocco) in October 2021 have been rescheduled until 2022 due to the covid-19-pandemic.
The announcement was made Thursday by the host country and the two international financial institutions.
The annual meetings are usually held for two consecutive years at the WB and IMF headquarters in Washington and every third year in another member country.
These meetings bring together central banks governors, ministers of finance and development, private sector executives, civil society, media and academics.
